Heavy aspargus with some citrus on the nose. Dominant flavors of asparagus on the palate as well. The flavors transition towards a more tangy grass and pineapple. The finish zirs instead of zings due to bottle age, but it is long and tart with a subtle biscuit note.

I had my first glass about 20 minutes after coming out of the fridge. Probably a little colder than it should have been. This SB has a wonderful hay color and a nice citrusy nose. A distinct grapefruit taste which was a little tart for me. Medium acidity. A nice long finish. Day 2 on this bottle was smoother.

This is among my favorite SBs. The nose is full of grapefruit and fern. The taste is light and crisp with just enough sweetness to balance the acidity.

Pale straw color. Big grapefruit nose. Pineapple, fig and cactus flavors are framed with moderate tart acidity. A little twiggy on the finish. Drink now.

pale straw color; wonderful fruity noise - gooseberry, citrus, grapefruit, mellon; palate dry with crispy gooseberry and grapefruit taste; long finish; overall great wine (especially for the price)!

One heck of a fruit bomb... citrus, citrus, citrus.... If you don't like grapefruit, this is not the wine for you. Did I say citrus? I'm still a newbie wine taster so excuse my limited vocabulary. Refreshing. I really did enjoy this and will buy more.

Not bad. Very grapefruity and zingy. Almost racy. Otherwise fairly one-dimensional. 84 pts.

TWC White Wine Group enjoy an evening of summer quaffers (Jenny & Jeremy's): Straw color. Textbook classic gooseberry and grass nose. Wonderful citrus attack in the mouth with crisp and sharp fruit - lots of kiwi fruit - and then herbaceous and cut grass flavors in the background. Bravo.
