Decanted. The nose was great straight off, excellent barnyard, cassis and a bit of smoke, very elegant and refined. The palate was quite savoury, rich cassis, lots of tannins, having a slight aged feel to it, secondaries coming in. An excellent wine and in a perfect spot right now!

Red fruits (rasberry) with à little touch of acidity and smoke- good lenght - it was "fresh" for a 2003 Pomerol. Time to drink these 2003 with a good QPR (20€)

Very dark. Plummy and ripe fruit, lacks a certain refreshing dimension. Plenty of smoke, stable and tobacco is found in this full-bodied wine. Ok for the price.

Deep red in color. Fruity smell with earthy finish. Also some smoke. Very smooth context after 2h decanting, well balanced with very long finish. smoke and earthy things on the palate also...need to buy more!

Decanted for an hour. Appearance: brownish edge to an otherwise maroon wine, starting to show some age (5/5). Nose: very fruity, nice rounded aromas, some anise, bit of barnyard, red cherries, also cigar box, yummy (11/15). Palate: nice, very nice, this seems to be right at its peak, well integrated, rich tastes of red fruits, tannins silky smooth, refined, sophisticated taste, not sweet at all, I really like this! (16/20). Overall: this is it, a really good wine, even though it is "only" the second wine of the chateau, and it is ready to drink right now. (8/10).

Three hour decant. Medium ruby; vegital nose. Mediym bodied; resoved tannins. Probably would not have I.D.ed as bordeaux. Improved somwhat over the course of the evening.

We let sit for 30 minutes. Nose nice, classic rural French, smokey, barnyard, leather.

In just few months from our prior consumption of one of these bottle, the wine lost part of its strength - still a very balance wine
