Quite rich and viscous style ... spicy dark cherry with slight hints of strawberry jam. Big, fruity nose that started to show some cola and earth with air. Classic California Pinot Noir in style. This is a Pinot that is hard not to like but maybe not one that you'll love.

A huge nose of strawberry - with currants and spice in the background. Like the nose the palate is unrestrained hugeness, with big red fruits, spicy and peppery strawberry, good acid, and some tannins. This is a bruiser of a Pinot.

Had this at Shanghai 1930 in SF at a work related function. Was expecting some nasty wine at the bar but this definitely surprised me. Rich and ripe sweet cherries and plums with a velvety mouthfeel. I would have guessed this to be a $30+ bottle but I think it's around $20. At this price range, a nice QPR. Not many sub $20 pinots have pinot characteristics but this was unmistakingly pinot noir with the slight pinot funk smell of earth and mushrooms.

Not as good as pat showing but perhaps drank at too cool a temperature (from cellar). Ripe strawberry and some earthiness.
