Tour de France blind tasting (Concord, MA): The Cote de Beaune representative in our Tour de France blind tasting. A lot of tasters were able to guess this correctly. Unfortunately, they didn't care for it as much as the others (6th out of 6, and last place for me as well). Our "apples vs. oranges vs. bananas" blind tasting was probably unfair to a wine like this, which aims for roundness and grace rather than fruit or power.

Ripe dark plum fruit up front, Low+ acid and Med+ tannic grip. 14% Alc. on the label; not sure its actually that high. Satisfying, if a little simple; a good weeknight Burg.
