  • And another Chablisienne...

this one is new for me so I cant relate to other vintages... as usual I give the wine a bit time on air in decanter before testing...

Bouquet is a bit tricky... fresh but notes of honey..

flavour is quite intense and mostly dominated by gooseberry with some mild lemon and minerality.
The gooseberry profile reminds a bit about Sancerre or Laurent Perrier La Cuvee (not as agressive though).

Acidity is rather laid back, body is a bit bigger than usual for Chablisienne I would say. Very nice oily/creamy body.

Should definitely improve a bit with some years.

Unfortunately gooseberry is not my personal favorite but still good stuff!
