Spicy, energetic CdP, shows cherry, boysenberry and a slight “sweet-tart” flavor. A classic style ripe and structured, balancing fruit and minerals, excellent.

Initially marked by medicinal herbs and cassis in aroma and on first taste after uncorking. It opened up two hours after decanting.
Clear ruby in appearance with pronounced aromas of cassis, red cherry and some oak. The flavours were bright, distinct and rich. I tasted cassis, garrigue and red cherry, along with tertiary notes of mild spices and leather. It has a medium-long finish defined by a lingering trace of cinnamon.
The wine is medium+ bodied with smooth tannin, medium acidity and good balance. It paired well with charcuterie for me. Should go well with most classic meal dishes.
While I consider this a good wine, I agree with the other community reviewers who felt that it kind of underperformed. On balance, given its price point and the reputation of the producer, the wine was kind of underwhelming if I were to hold it to its standard.

Medium ruby in the glass. Lot's of dark plum, blackberry, kirsch and black pepper on the nose along with some spicy oak. Beautiful texture and richness on the palate with nicely defined dark fruits, spice and garrigue notes through the impressively structured finish. The 15% ABV and oak treatment does make itself a little too apparent overall but this is another decent Guigal bottling. Drink now to 2030.

Pinkish-purple rim, dark ruby red center. Red fruits, black plum, spices and leather. Smooth, complex and balanced. Round tannin. Long finish. Best to breathe 2 hours of longer.

Went in with low expectations after reading some of the reviews. Decanted for 90 minutes while keeping decanter chilled in a water bath at 60 degrees before putting back in the bottle. Better than I was expecting. Would drink again.

Opened up very nicely yet should definitely hold on to for 5+ years, notes of dark red cherries, white peppercorn. Medium + acidity, medium body, dry mouth filling tannins.

Some classic CNdP notes like dark fruits, floral, some wet stone and herbs but was honestly a tad disappointing. As Janka said, it underperformed. Even after a long decant it wasn't much better than CNdP at near half the price. Will not be buying again

Pepper, garrigue, black raspberries, and a touch of kirsch round out the nose. On the medium-bodied palate, the wine is fresh and fruity with a serious touch of garrigue-toned, spicy, red fruits and green olives in the finish. Drink from 2022-2027.

On its own not so easy to enjoy, but with food it's better. Rather tannic, oaky, no real fruit notes and for my palate, a little bit soft and lacking in acid. But not a bad wine, just lumbering and a bit oafy.

A wawoooo wine... was opened in the right time... perfection... without any extravaganza🍷👏
Medium not too bright mostly clear red color.
Full to medium body. Medium minus acidity. Soft but still felt tanines. Great structure👏
Beautifully aromatic. Barrels, fruits, spices, ageing and terroir👏
Same richness and fullness on the palate: oak, chocolate, vanilla, leather, stone, earthy, plum, strawberries, cherry, raspberries, anise, ginger, pepper, licorice, mushrooms, cheese, hazelnut👏🍷
Wonderful wine 👏🍷👏
