Tasted blind and enjoyed this a lot. Opaque black colour, nose of sweet black fruit with desiccated coconut and with a mint aroma too and a hint of plastic which took some of the pleasure off it. The palate is thick and viscous and with sweet chocolatey flavours accompanied by blackberry and blackcurrant, ably supported by prominent tannins and good acidity. My second favourite wine out of the five tasted on the night. It’s big but with complexity to make it very distinctive.
