Needed some time to open up and settle a bit but drank wonderfully. Still young and has some time to go, despite being at year 9 now. Some acidity made it refreshing. Low-to-no tannins and smoothness makes this an easy to drink and enjoy. Expecting it to be even better next year.

Excellent Brunello di Montalcino. Dark cherry red in the glass with aromas cherries, raspberries, cranberries and a hint of leather. Medium weight mouthfeel with lovely texture on the palate. Flavor sensations mirror the wine’s aromas with smooth satisfying finish. Enjoyed this engaging wine’s over 2 nights, well-corked.

Drank over 4 days. Never fully opened up. Was best on day 2. Not a great Brunello, but worth $25 at Costco in Naples, FL. Better with food. It's a bit harsh now but might get better with time and justify a higher score. Of course, the Sucking score of 94 is a joke like all his ratings on Costco wines.

So buzzy at first that I thought maybe oxidized It took 45 min to blow off Then rounded elegance surrounding some gentle fruit so prevalent for the 2015 vintage Delicious with and without food but needs some cellar time

Venturi decant nice dark cherry licorice and leather. Nice on its own to start and then helping my pesto go down
