Great when opened: big chard nose with butter, spice and fruit. Same on the palate with just enough acidity. But definitely getting to/past its prime, at least this bottle. Second night (under vacuum in refrig) it started to taste oxidized;

This bottle was very nice overall but not as big as I remembered from earlier bottles. Good balance with apricot and peach notes on the nose along with a hint of butter; same on the palate plus some citrus notes. Paired well with grilled chicken. Still nice but I wonder if this vintage hasn't peaked?

This bottle seemed a bit off; not corked but previous sample was off the charts: rich, buttery, etc. This one was thin and , while still Ok, nothing to write home about.

A sublime chard: hits all of the right notes on the nose and palate. A bit restrained compared to a big CA chard; more like a burgundy with a bit less acid. Apricot and butterscotch on the nose with hints of lemon/lime; those continue on the palate with just enough acid to pair really well with food.

This bottle wasn't nearly up to the standard of previous ones (and I hope future ones). Had chard notes but not as full bodied and a bit more acidic. Still pleasant but not the stunner I've gotten used to with this vintage.

Wonderful bottle: nose is pure chard with butter and spice notes; the palate is a nice mix of stone fruits, hint of lime and a medium to long finish with spice notes.

Wow! This could be a very nice Burgundy. Moderate nose with typical Chard "butter", lychee, hints of lime. On the palate, great mouth feel of apricot, spice more hints of citrus and a lot more with just the right amount of acid to pair well with food. Had with grilled pork chops: sublime. Had a bit for the second and third day and it was almost as good. Did seem to add a slight vegetal note? Who knows how long this will go.

Off the charts great! If I had to pick one chard to drink, this would be it. Enough age to bring out the wonderful combo of apricot, butter, hints of honey on both nose and palate. Plenty of acid to pair well with food. Medium nose, full body (adds citrus notes) with med to long finish.

This Chard justs gets better and better. Just enough "butter" on the nose and palate along with complex notes of peach, lime and more. Medium to long finish with good acidity. Great to sip and with food. Glad I have more!

Continues to impress. Nice stone fruit notes plus hints of butter on the nose, continues to the palate with perfect balance of acidity. Medium to longer finish, nice peach and apricot notes.

Superb chardonnay. Notes of pear and citrus on the nose with hints of butterscotch. On the palate, perfectly balanced acid and fruit: peach, apple and some lime. The medium to long finish is an explosion of spices (esp. when the wine isn't too cold), vanilla, clove and more.

Just a touch of the cream / lactic on the nose. Otherwise straight chardonnay fruit. Apparently partially dried Chardonnay as well. In French Oak. Texture on the palate. Could use more cut for me. Over at $20 but certainly very well crafted.

Continues to impress: plenty of great chard character in a very balanced package; nothing over powers or dominates. Pear, peach and lime with a hint of butter on the nose; continues on the palate with a medium finish and good acidity to hold up to food.

The color is a paler, olive-tinged yellow. As far as aromas go, I wasn't able to pick up on much beside the subtle accents left by barrel aging.
On the palate, medium body and medium acidity. Flavors consist of yellow apple, brioche, and hazelnut. Fairly strong concentration and good length on the spicy finish. To me, this wine became more enjoyable as it warmed, becoming creamier, smoother, and more drinkable.
Well made, but not my style for chardonnay. I'd prefer more fruit and less overt oak.
