Tasty and oppulent wine. Sorbet quality to fruit but in very good balance to the acidity and mouth feel. Helps if you decant, but you can also patiently drink it till it shows its wonder. Maybe not the best buy at the price, but an excellent Chardonnay if you like classic American oak led styles.

Medium- bodied, traditional towards modern style. Green tint. Pears, white flowers, meringue (but not so lemony), seashell minerality. Low to moderate wood comes in the form of toasted pistachio shells and subtle spice, almost towards Graham cracker. Really nice entry level for serious Chardonnay, could this drink this anytime. Surprisingly good length at price point.

Pietros: Very classic Sonoma Coast barrel ferment Chardonnay. Loved the spicy (oak) nose, the yeast notes and the overall complexity. The fruit was a bit subdued by the flavors of the barrel fermentation, mild citrus in a Meyer lemon direction. A really excellent wine. Not quite as evolved and developed yet, needs time.

It is a fine Chardonnay. But, at least when buying from the winery, it is expensive compared to alternatives in the same neighborhood.

Very smooth, oaky, but refined. Summer fruits subtlety.
