Very good qpr at $47. Only needs a little air to blossom. Just a gorgeous wine with rich red fruits. Lost a bit overnight after vacuum seal. Drink now.

Wonderful full nose of red berries and dark cherries with suggestions of forest loam. Palate reveals more of the fruits along with wild mushroom and hints of cocoa on the finish. Balanced acidity with subtle tannin. A tad light weight on the finish.

Very nice Sojourn Pinot. Subdued floral nose. Strawberry and cherry on the palate. Fruit forward but not cloyingly so. Moderate acidity and tannins. Not particularly complex but decent finish.

The last '17 pinot in my cellar!......on to the '18s after tonight!
This was very nice....pleasant perfumed strawberry nose with light florals. Chalky minerality in the mouth with more cherry and strawberry soaking the palate. A little vanilla imparted from the barrel. Very well matched acidity and a very gentle spice component and a very slight tart ending to the fruit with a 15 second mouthwatering finish. Very nice.

Black cherry cola and ripe raspberries over a frame of vanilla and just the tiniest hint of earth and forest floor. Finishes with medium acidity and silky, resolved tannins. Ripe and juicy but with good freshness and lift. Excellent.
Particularly good....but only after 60-90 minutes. A bit thin and unimpressive initially. It filled out and the beautiful strawberry and cherry fruit really played well and the entire wine showed great balance. Very, very enjoyable.
Ruby red with a rose-colored meniscus. Dusty cherry, sandalwood and asian spice on the nose; black cherry cola on the palate. Silky and round, with a little tarty zest on the finish. Another delicious offering from Sojourn's 2017 vintage.

Nose of black cherry, forest floor, and allspice, same on the palate, big body, needs 2 years to peak drinking, very tasty, almost elegant, mouth filling fruit, rich fruit, worth a search, and a long, flavorful finish.

Had this and many other 2017, pinots in Sojourn’s tasting room in Sonoma. Of the vineyard select wines we tasted, Rodger’s Creek was my favorite. Well rounded, excellent fruit nose and flavors. The most mature and ready to drink Pinot I tasted. Another excellent Pinot Noir from Sojourn.

30-minute decant. Medium red; a little purple at the rim. Cola, blueberry, sweet cherry, spices, a little smoke. Hint of earth. No doubt a Sonoma Coast. Smells good; tastes great. Really nice mouthfeel. 30-second-plus finish. There's a lot to like. Decent acidity, but wouldn't try to age this too long. I'd drink through 2022. 92+

Starting to develop more earthy flavors. Mushrooms come through on the palate now. The acid has calmed down a bit as well. Wonderful finish that I expect from this particular wine.

I fully expect my score to increase based on prior vintages of this wine. Right now it's full on ripe cherry creme all over the palate. Very smooth but it needs time to settle down a little. The second day was better as some of the acidity had dropped out. But the secondary flavors do not yet appear. Still very enjoyable now. Probably much more so in a year.

Red and some blue berries. Some savory spice. Suggestion of cola on back of palate. Not as complex or weighty as I would like.
