Poor stemware may have affected this, as it really came across as very boring, sugary sweet and no complexity whatsoever - You could say it's because it's only $10, however there are so many better $10 and under wines out there why bother? (78 Points).

Dark cherries/blackberries on the nose with hints of chocolate. More of the same on the palate with smooth vanilla, pepper and a little backbone of oak. A little bit sweet too which i liked, the fruit really came to the fore. At €7.99 it represents excellent value.
