CEIBS #1. Pale straw color. Nose of honey and stone fruits. Dry, zesty acidity, taste of honeyed pear, peach, honey, buttery. Medium body and finish. A bit sweetish for a Chard for me.

Great QPR on this chardonnay. Rich and mouth-filling, with enough acidity for balance.

With chicken Kiev, rice, carrots.
Nice happy color, yellow gold calling us in.
Classic chard nose, apple, oak, butter (under control though).
Light acid adds some brightness.

Old Timers Lunch at Alexander Valley Vineyards (Alexander Valley Vineyards): Clean and fresh without excessive oak or alcohol. Very attractive and accessible.

Some barrel tones to the nose. Whipped cream. Palate is a little blunt with the oak notes tamping it down.
