Amazing wine. Did not decant and just opened it and drank it to indulge myself. Great wine and definitely on the Caymus kind of style. This is definitely sweet and delicious, dont bother with tertiary or earthy elements, this is a VIP party wine. Don´t consider it buying it if you like boring austere Bordeaux.

Double decanted for 2 hrs, deep ruby/purple, red & black fruit with vanilla on the nose, black cherry on the palate, med. tannins, long finish; outstanding & amazingly soft & approachable (to me) for a 16, drink or preferably hold

PnP then an 1.5 hour decant. Good indulgence but not at the level I would have hoped with six in the cellar. Nice cassis, tart dark red beery, tobacco leaf, hint of mineral. Not a simple wine but nor is it complex- at least what a 2016 TRB wine should be. A lasting impression of high alcohol which I typically enjoy when better integrated. Poor QPR.

SO'd for a few hrs then double decanted for another hour, deep purple, beautiful nose of red & black fruit with caramel, ripe black cherry on the palate, med. tannins, long finish; outstanding for such a young wine & as good as it was when tasted at the winery, another TRB beauty!

Similar to prior notes after a 2 hour double decant; outstanding & at the start of peak drinking that should last several years

Similar to prior notes, but continues to improve with age & after a 90 min double decant, classic TRB; outstanding drink or hold
