  • A dense, muscular CDP with flavors of raspberries, cherries and plum pate. There’s a rosy accent, and black tea and mushroom notes. The mouthfeel is fairly creamy with a suitable amount of oak-imparted silkiness. There’s a bit of heat on the nose but the listed 16% alcohol content does not seem to intrude over the fruit and other flavors.

  • Clear medium ruby; clean medium plus nose of chocolate-covered maraschino cherries and soil; dry; medium plus acidity; medium plus tannins; high alcohol; medium plus body; medium plus flavour intensity; palate is tarter with addition of black licorice; long finish; very hot and unbalanced with a pop-and-pour - give it another 5 years in the cellar or an hour decant

  • PnP. Dark garnet. For all intents and purposes, opaque. Quintessential CdP, filled with garrigue and spice and herbs. Total fruit bomb with high alcohol that is apparent only in the mouthfeel. Almost like candy. Oozes grenache. Real purity here. 5-13-17-8: 93/100.

  • Slightly more developed and bit more raisined on the fruit profile than my last bottle in 2020, but frankly I am not that confident of the storage conditions in this flat so that might contribute given the recent two hot summers. Still a very nice wine but on this showing I would drink sooner, maybe over five to ten years. I am starting to worry the high alcohol might poke out with extended ageing.

  • A chameleon. Decanted for 3 hours. Started as heavy grenache but you could tell the syrah was there. Then it went full grenache around hour 1.5 of drinking. Then around hour 3 it went full syrah. Each stage was great however. Super light tannins on finish, but some grip early-mid palate. Will obv come together with more time in bottle - but really tasty now.

  • PnP. Should have looked it up before opening. Needs more time.

  • Popped and poured.
Dark purple color. Tons of spice and violets on the palate, but very tight. This wine is very young and would have benefitted from a decantation. Worth following.

  • Almost decadent, yet exudes so much class, the full body and lavish aromas are addicting. Warm fig, ripe raspberry, garrigue, river rock, cassis and Pad Thai sauce. With a full middle and back, there’s strut and a finish that does not quit...showcasing Jolly Rancher. Drinking very well after an hour decant, with silky tannins that possess some fiber. There’s purity of fruit-squared. Drink 2022 - 2037.

  • Nose is ripe cherry, anise, spice and tarragon....
Flavor is cherry, raspberry, floral with nice grippy tannins and then an explosion of residual flavor on the swallow with perfectly integrated fruit and tannin...just outstanding and sure to be even better in 3-5 years...
    94 now but leaning higher....

  • This is a blend of 60% Grenache and 40% Syrah. Surprisingly light red. The nose declares emphatically this is a Grenache driven wine. There are some lovely red fruit and floral notes, verging towards red lollies but not in a bad way. There is a touch of darker fruit underneath as well. The palate opens with sweet red fruit but closes with good length and structured, grippy tannins. Astonishingly this clocks in at 16pc abv, which will make this just about the first time I have ever had a table wine that high in alcohol where it didn’t feature in my note. Very good wine. Very drinkable now (with a good airing) to let the bright Grenache characters shine, but the purity and the structure give me confidence this will evolve nicely for at least ten to fifteen years.
