Light hay-gold color. Limestone and lime zest on the nose. Fairly neutral acids with a soapstone texture. Notes of lime, soapstone, and limestone mineralogy.

Oranges/tangerines, honey, something savory like fennel; beautiful soft, satiny texture on the palate, almost thick, but really transparent and fresh with elegant acidity rather than stinging one. Lovely Riesling. 17.5/20

Medium gold colour… nose is discrete ( not very expressive) , M+ body with a very good acidity .. dont find it very fruity, some minerality closer to hot stones than petroleum.. Some nice and elegant bittertaste at the end ( lemon or pomelo zest) Impressed by the lenght of the wine but needs to age and be drunk in 10 years

While I must admit that I prefer other vintages of this wine to the 2016, this is still a very delicious and enjoyable riesling.
APPEARANCE: Color & intensity: medium gold
NOSE: Intensity: medium (+) Aromas: lemon, tangerine, petrol, beeswax, crushed stone, caramel, hints of honey and baking spices Development: developing
PALATE: Sweetness: dry Acidity: medium (+) Alcohol: medium Body: medium (+) Intensity: medium (+) Flavors: lemon, lemon zest, yellow apple, tangerine, crushed stone, hint of baking spices Finish: medium (+)
CONCLUSIONS: Quality level: very good Potential for ageing: can drink now, but has good potential for some further ageing
