Part of a 2005 vintage wine dinner. For many the wine of the night. My second favorite. Bold and deep. CellarTracker shows drinking window closing but I’d say it should hold up further but why wait. Drinking fabulous right now.

Bought at the domaine. First of a six pack (bottle no. 1575). Dark colour. Lovely baked earth nose. Pretty intense and black fruited nose. Surprisingly light on it's feet but rather drying finish. Much better later when the fruit and sweetness came out, along with clean clear notes of white pepper. Very tasty and a very serious Cotes du Rhone. Not a tannic beast, but no hurry for these either.

Gorgeous full-bodied wine, nose of black cherry, leather and vanilla from the oak; lots of life ahead for this. Much better two hours after popping the cork.

Still pretty fruity but with some development. Modern but goof quality. Would still benefit from more time.

Serious stuff. Still v dark colour. Brooding garrigue and a touch of kirsch. Still young. Really needs a few more years.

One of my absolute favourites! Price/Quality-rate is exceptionel. Elegant and smooth it goes well with e.g. grilled lamb
