  • Color was pale straw with a slight greenish tint.

Nose was so lovely and inviting at this stage. Lemon, lemon zest, white peach, a bit of apple, pineapple, wet stone, flowers, slight hint of orange and spices.

Palate was just my style of Kabinett - hyper-focused on the acidity with the sweetness as a back-up. Green apple, white peach, unripe pineapple, lemon juice, lemon zest, lime zest, lots of grapefruit and some crushed slate with a touch of spices and petroleum.
Really intense concentration, depth and tension! Every sip felt different, exciting and playful in the mouth. Great value for €17!

  • Great balance - very pleasant bright acidity and some fairly understated sweetness. Nice concentration and still minerality. Liked 2018 better than 2019 (Probably 2018 was better for the sweeter wines than 2019)

  • Coravined serving into Riedel white wine glass (“Flower” day): Pale lemon with greenish tints to the eyes.

Stone fruits like peaches, florals. Elegant and good with food.

Off-dry and this is more citrus fruits on palate with bright acidity.

Great with food and quite classic in style. 93 points.

  • An exotic nose that includes orange oil, spices, and citrus
The high acidity is very spritzy and almost dances in the palate
Very fruity on the palate with pronounced orange notes
At mid-point between dry and off-dry. Excellent length

  • Opened up on day 2. Great quality riesling. Fresh and inviting and surprisingly fleshy for a young kabinett. Quite tropical aromas, with lots of pineapple. Excellent structure and seemless transition from the mid palette to the finish. Well made and great value.

  • [10 19] Nice and generous on the nose, notes of yellow stone fruit with hints of tropical fruit. On the palate at first also quite ripe, but there is lots of acidity. Very vibrant and mineral with a long, intense finish. Very good. 91-92+

  • Obviously still edgy as it just has been bottled. Great wine, lots of tension, high acidity (didn't expect it so high in 2018). Wonderful yellow fruit and grapefruit aromas, very good structure. Medium aftertaste. Will be excellent in 3-5 years!
