I purchased this bottle for $10 mainly because we visited this town back in 1998. I opened this with dinner. Salad with homemade Italian dressing. fettucine alfredo and Italian breaded chicken cutlets. 100% Vernaccia from 15-30 year old vines. A crisp dry wine which matched the meal well. Notes of apples and lemons. Not overly complex but wasn't expecting it to be. 88 points.

Nose of sea shells and lemongrass. Light and crisp on the front palette, but then the mid palette shows some nice round body and some unctuousness. Served at 45 degrees and with grilled shrimp and scallops. Nice.

White flowers and sea spray, With a flush mid palate, lively, easy going. Not terribly complex but not the worse for it.
