Probably a little past its prime, fairly closed upon opening, drank over the course of 3 hours and it opened up considerably by the end. Nutty and somewhat beeswaxy, after an hour or so some decent acidity crept back in that made the wine seem more lively than when opened, and gave it some slight tropical fruit notes. Drink up but let it sit for a bit before digging in.

Brilliant yellow tinged with gold and green highlights. Fresh nose of lemon curd, sweet spice and wet stone. Richly textured but fresh and lively with impeccably balanced citrus, apricot and stone fruit flavors. The oak is fully absorbed and the finish is clean and long. For those of us who can no longer afford the best White Bordeaux this will certainly help fill the void. Drink now through 2014.

Wow. Love the well integrated oak here, which adds richness and complexity. Fruit and acid also in balance. Better than previous bottles. Served slightly chilled.

Thick and buttery texture, really impressive notes of apricots, fresh melon, nectarines, really delicious, slightly honied finish. Damn good and will drink well for 4-5 more years easily.

Hearty Red and Crisp Whites (Farpointe Cellar): The nose had honey and floral notes, cantaloupe and grass, and a litte stone at the end. The palate was rich, with toast and cantaloupe, honey and herbs, and a good floral finish.

A very good wine. Drank with cheese and pate. Floral nose with hints of citrus and buttery on the palate, but a little tight. Wish I had opened it and allowed it to breath for a little while prior to drinking...might have been a bit more open judging by others' comments.

Nicely integrated wine that was very nice on the pop and pour. Complemented cajun seasoned catfish really well tonight. Sadly, our last bottle of this vintage.Would buy again.

Had this tonight at the Fish Cafe. The oak is well integrated now and this is a very good pop and pour wine. It paired well with the fried oysters and the pan seared scallops. My only hint of complaint is the finish seemed a little cloying and not as crisp as I would have wanted. Might have been the food pairing tonight. Would buy again.

Tasted a bit cool, so it took awhile to warm up and release its aromas. Golden/straw in color, clear, showing density in its hue. Notes of lemon custard, fresh apricot on the nose. Medium bodied, showing a bit of barrel fermentation, with balanced elegance between the acidity and oak.

Textbook Chaleur Blanc. Nice lemon curd, fresh cream, and spice on the nose. The palate has wonderful acidity up front with a creamy richness towards the finish. Grilled asian pear, yellow apple, and ginger. Have had these wines at 5+ years of age and they hold up beautifully.

Served with 1) appetizer: Brie cheese et peppered crackers; 2) Un Course: Pain de Catalan et Caviar d' Aubergine; 3) Main Course: fresh Dungeness Crab et Caesar Salade. This is an outstanding-extraordinary bordeaux-style white wine which worked superbly with all phases of the dinner I prepared for frends. I perceive it will be outstanding with seafood as well; with or without sauces! I am not good at numbers but for discussion I submit 98.

Nice wine but the oak right now is a little too much on day 1.Not well integrated yet and needs more time.
Second day the oak was much better integrated. Everything about this wine improved considerably overnight. The nose had lemon and a touch of butterscotch, the mouth was very nicely integrated and buttery with a very nice lingering finish.

Popped for lunch with soup noodles. An aromatic nose of tropical fruits and a bit of lemon verbena. Clean and crisp in the mouth, with good acidity. A long finish. This is a great drinker with food or on its own.

Excellent wine with a sophisticated palate. When first open, while the wine was still cold from the refrigerator, this had a nose of mint and fresh summer herbs. Aromatic, herbaceous, quite interesting. As the wine warmed, it took on a sweeter and more mineral aspect. Eventually, a wonderful almond shortbread flavor came through. We'll definitely be trying to pick up some more of this wine.

Unfortunate aroma, but heavenly palate and gets better the longer its open. A white that drinks like a red. This was the last of the 06.

Beverly's at Coeur d'Alene Resort
Pale yellow-wheaty
Light to medium bodied, with hints of petrol and wet hey
Well structured, good acidity with long finish
Not my style of wine-the sommelier in training Summer, paired this with dinner-decent choice
