Decanted and let breath for four hours. Big wine with a seductively soft mouthfeel. Aroma of fennel, some chocolate and coconut with flavors of plum, cranberry, and dark fruits. Excellent finish. Great drinking spot now with a decant and long breath, but has years of cellaring to go. I’ll likely hit my last bottle inside of the next 3-4 years.

Not much improvement over first bottle. Again, aromatics are right on for Oakville Cab (blackberry, red cherry, plum and vanilla spice), but massively disappoints on the palate - too much oak, stemmy and green, and something sour on the finish. They pitch this as a baby Silver Oak, but this is nothing close.

Excellent cab but it must be decanted for at least an hour and a half to let it open up. The reward for your patience is a real transformation of the depth of flavors, mouthfeel and finish from OK to “Wow, that’s great juice!”

Pretty nice wine, but way overpriced. Thin, pleasant and rounded, and slightly dusty cabernet. Non-existent finish. No nose to speak of. But curiously drinkable.

Big hat, no cattle. Color and aromatics say Oakville Cab: black cherry, cassis, eucalyptus. Alas, everything falls apart on the palate: same flavors, but hollow and over-oaked. Clearly, not the first run fruit from the best parcels. This is a tasty facsimile, but not at this price.

Bought a few of this on a whim. It was ok but not great. Have had better cabs for the price. Somewhat earthy with an off aftertaste. Would not buy again but will try another bottle to try again.

Nose is off but wine is passable. Dry currants and blackberries.

Like the last one , mediocre. Barnyard is still there and thin. . Not a fan.
