A very, very good Bordeaux white. While on the strong side alcohol-wise at 14%, this is well balanced by citrus/nectarine mouth and aromas and a nice grippy acidity. Will sure age well.

Yellow greenish color, floral immediately at opening, lemon, green apple, mild tropical, some oak at nose and palate, medium body and medium finish. Well balance.

In the beginning the nose seemed excellent, but faded quickly. The taste was dominated by the oak, which pushed the other elements towards the background. Although they all seemed better integrated than one year ago, the fruit couldn't hold towards the oak, unfortunatley. But at the fourth day a herbal nose and sweet fruit more prominent, the oak more at the back. Still a classy wine; at the first day 90, at the fourth 92.

Perhaps a touch too much oak, but it's so smooth and pleasant this might be nit-picking. Abundant citrusy flavors persist in a nice, long finish. Really nice white Bordeaux.

Refined nose with herbs and flowers at the front with a grassy, sauvignon blanc note. The taste was flowery with fine herbal, greenish and creamy notes, and anise in the finish. Well balanced. After some time in the glass also some fruit in the taste. This is not a spectacular, but a refined, restraint, very good, really classy wine. Maybe it will be better with one year of further keeping. Looking forward to drink another bottle. 92.

This has really jumped in quality since it was in barrel. Now, the wine has taken on more weight, allowing you to experience the complex aromatic profile which shows off its flowers, lemon, white peach and vanilla. Lush, round, juicy and fruity, the finish is sweet, lively and loaded with delicious fruits.

With a nice aromatic profile of grapefruit and lemon, this wine is medium bodied and while it shows good sweetness and some tension, this is not a wine for long term aging. So enjoy it in its youth for all that juicy, yellow citrus fruit.

more ripe on the palate than expected, with green apple, flint, pipi de chat, and muscat grapes.

Amsterdam UGCB Tasting (Amstel Boathouse, Amsterdam, NL): Floral and vegetal intensity but not much fruit expression, not too much oak either, gentle bitters, lacks a bit of stuffing, slightly raw finish.
