PnP and drank without food. Light bodied and very clean. Relatively simple sour cherry fruit that was pretty focused. well balanced and easy to drink this was very enjoyable. Mrs. Coupe and my son also loved it. Great QPR at sub $12 price point at Total wine. Definitely a rebuy

A wonderful Sangiovese with an even better QPR. This is an earthy wine—a little red fruit with ample leather/chocolate/bread/dusty books. The palate is almost—in the best possible way—like dried blood; more red fruit and iron. Well structured with friendly acidity.

Tasted non blind. Opened and served immediately. Followed over about an hour.
Garnet color in the glass, clear looking throughout. Nose of red berries, red cherries and a bit of either meatiness or earthiness. Flavors of tart red berries, a bit of red cherry and maybe some strawberry. Tart acidity, medium tannin, medium to full bodied. Drink now.

100% Sangiovese from younger vineyards, from the north of Florence down south towards Siena. Fermented ~1 week in stainless steel tanks without subsequent maceration. Lots aged 6 months separately in stainless steel tanks before blending for bottling. Organic wine. 12.5% Abv. Proprietor/Winemaker: Bibi Graetz
A(ccuray)=2: Med ruby/red. Fragrant, smoky varietal. B(alance)=3: Modulated components in harmony. C(omplexity)=2: Red berries, spices, earth. D(epth)=1: Fresh mouthfeel. Good length and finish.
Wine Tally Score [2,3,2,1]= 8/10
Graetz's "house wine", at 1/30 the price for his "cult status" bottlings! Pure varietal expression.

A youthful wine, showing dry red licorice, tart cherries, wet earth, ripe black cherry, there is a slight green note in the mid palate that comes into focus. The tannin grain is extremely apparent and provides a dusty texture to the finish. Have this with anything tomato based as its better with food.

Vino fragrante, schietto, profumato ed assai scorrevole; e pure relativamente poco alcolico (12.5°). Un vero vino quotidiano, sincero e gustoso. Davvero un buon prodotto ad un prezzo assai onesto (7,5 euro)

Needs a few hours to open up, then pretty amazing. Beautiful fruit, enough structure to respect, dry finish.
