Opened three days ago, found it both sappy and harsh, then retasted last night. In the days since it has lightened up and now shows a perfumey, floral nose with a strong, plastic-y Jolly Rancher Watermelon Candy midpalate. That's actually an improvement over the first impression earlier this week, but I don't like it. Fie on the 18's!!!

Opened straight from the cellar where it's been resting for years. Bought three, opened one in 2020 and saved the other two hoping for evolution like the glorious, brooding '14 at five-six years out. But alas, medium red and cloudy. Shows strawberry, pepper, a balsamic vinegar-like tartness and something funky I don't like that's somewhere between bretty and cooked. That wasn't evident in 2020 and is something I'd presume to be a one-off flaw in this bottle but for the many notes here mentioning funk and 'mousy'. Very disappointing.
Fun lively wine, crunchy red fruit, bit of animal funk, whiff of balsamic vinegar (VA?). Softens and smooths out tannins with air. Excellent for casual, relatively mindless drinking.

Medium ruby with some purple. Aromatics medium +. Candied red fruit, mainly strawberry and ripe cherry. Pure fruit without secondary beyond some minerals. No funk or Brett when I opened. No new oak Palate has medium body. Acid medium +. Tannins medium, fine grained and integrated. Alcohol medium. Crunchy red fruit. Strawberry and cherry. Finish has medium length. Balanced To me, this is Gamay from cru Beaujolais in it's pure essence. Still has plenty of aging potential, but I feel it is drinking well now.
Day #2, classic jolly rancher aspects to the fruit. Wish I had more.

Over 4 bottles I have gone from “don’t like” to “neutral”. I agree with the other comments about funk / mouse aromas from the start, and things only decline as it opens. I get the most out of this wine when it is chilled 30 mins and poured by the glass via Coravin to squash the alcoholic nose and to avoid the remaining bottle oxidising and falling apart. Sour cherries, raspberries, farmyard. I cannot give more than 79 because I would describe it as having a minor flaw. Perhaps too “low intervention” for my palate.

Raspberry, strawberry, red currant, cherry, with dusty seedy kick. Hint of lime like young burgundy red. Tight powdery acidity and integrated unstructured tannin. Excellent concentration, deep and nuanced. Almost chateauneuf-like.

Very solid easy drinking wine. Brought a Magnum of this to my friend Mo's birthday dinner, it was a crowd pleaser. Great wine for an outdoor dinner in October.

Somewhat closed on first tasting, seemed light and lacking in fruit. Left open overnight and the next day it had noticeably more weight, fruit and delineation. Will improve but needs cellar time or a 24 hr slow ox.

Beaujolais! Light but some backbone. The nose had a nice bit of funk to it without being to frame barnyard. Raspberry and cherry body with a little structure nice old world tang and minerality finish. Opened up after 30-60 minutes in my glass.
Not as big as a roillette tardive; this was a good sipper but held its own with a ribeye steak and potatoes.

Light ruby. Floral. Medium weight juicy red fruit and licorice followed by a snap of cranberry acidity. More structure than the 2 Bertrand wines. Very good.

Smaksnotat fra dagen etter. Nydelig og fruktig på nese. Masse friske sommerbær i munnen, særlig bringebær. God konsentrasjon. En fantastisk Fleurie.

Day 1: decanted 1/2 bottle. Red fruit, fresh, light, but the animal funk was detectable and a complete distraction.
Day 4: fell apart. Lots of funk.

Too hot for gamay, the fruit reminds me of 2015.
The regular Fleurie 2016 from Dutraive is still my favorite, while waiting for the 2019.

Deep cherries with a soft minerality. Very open at a young age with not a huge amount of acidity or tannin. Delightful though! Lovely glass of wine.

Strawberries, roses, dust on the nose. Medium body, medium plus acid. Textbook Beaujolais. Excellent Thanksgiving wine.
