Medium Bodiy initial taste is a little intense The wine looks purple colored. The legs are medium. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like forest floor. The body is medium. The wine has smooth texture. The wine finishes medium. The wine has medium acidity.

We call this the Stick Wine. The nice stick they attach to the bottle makes it easy to identify on the shelf. Aromatic, Aggressive, and Bitter taste makes this not my favorite wine, but its decent. Possibly had a bad bottle, at 10$ though, I'm sure ill be back for more.

Not sure why CT classifies this as a rose. It's a red. Nice food friendly Italian red. Low in tannins, but with moderate acidity. Aerated for about 2 hours before finishing on day 2. No dramatic improvement but it did develop a bit of sweetness on the front palate. Otherwise, pleasant and moderately full body with some dark fruit and medium finish.

Served @ 14c/57f (12.5% abv) with Baked Salmon. Pretty deep Salmon color in the glass, little nose and seemed somewhat dull on the palate, as if the flavor was not coming through. Prominent acidity.
Re-sampled the following day at a slightly colder temp (10c/50f). More of a nose of red berries. A little more body and flavor, but acidity masks the palate. Very Dry; not much sweetness. Seems better served well-chilled for sipping on its own. Unlikely to repeat.

Nice change from the usual Provencal or pinot-based rose. Montepulciano d'Abruzzo is the base varietal, making for a heavier and slightly more fruit-forward rose. They're giving it away at Costco ATM.

Cheapo vino from Costco. A bit rough around the edges, but perfect for pizza.

A little dry but not sour, mellow, great red table wine. Pairs well with pork, beef and salty meals.
