Musty nose. Slight bricking at the edges. Plenty of acidity, tannins are soft. Fruit is present, but not upfront. Bit of tar and leather are detectable.

Smells great, blueberry fruit, dates, leather, beef jerky, coffee. Complex aromas. Medium-full bodied. There are some nice fruit flavors early paired with leather and coffee. There is a bitter dark chocolate thing going on right before the alcoholic heat gets a bit strong and overcomes the flavors in the finish. The flavor lasts past this, leaving nice earthy fruit flavors, thinking dates or dried fig. It's nice wine, enjoyable to drink, but a bit too much alcohol. Gentle, rounded tannin and balanced acidity tells me this is ready to drink. Better slightly chilled.

PNP. Wonderful nose of blackberries and veggies. Balanced on the palate with black fruit, green pepper, licorice and coffee. Continues to drink well, and a decent value for a Cali Cab.

Still a bit early on this one. The oak is overt on day 1 but calms down on Day 2. Good cassis flavors. A solid Napa Cab. These are not my favorite in the Sineann portfolio, but they are good Napa Cabs.

Opened and decanting about 90 minutes before serving. Garnet to dark garnet color in the glass, clear hue throughout. Nose of boysenberry, black berries and black cherries that all carry through to the palate. Medium acidity and tannins, medium to full bodied. Drink now. In a really good place at the moment.

Very full open nose of dark/black fruit, plums, raisins and a very interesting layer of mild green pepper. On the palate the wine opens up from the beginning with plums, blackberry and earth notes. Really nice long finish. This wine is very well integrated. Will buy more if it can be found.

Bottled under glass cork. Gotta love it! Opened and decanted about 90 minutes before serving. Blowing a little sediment so beware. Dark garnet to purple color in the glass, clear hue throughout. Nose of cedar, dark fruits and spices. Flavors of black cherries, plums and berries. Bitters on the medium finish. Medium acidity, drying tannins, medium body. Drink now with an extended decant or continue to hold.

From the Oak Knoll district...this wine is structured to last longer than I would have expected from a California Cabernet. It is still a tad too young to enjoy at this time. I would think it will be at it's best from 2009-2012

Pinot Days (San Francisco, CA): Most distinctive cabernet sauvignon I've had in a long time. Briary, peppery, and a little bit herbal amid the cassis fruit. Nice tannins, good structure indicate this has lots of aging potential. Give it a few years and see what's what.

too young to open...i'm surprised the winery has released it...must have been bottled in last few months...let the others sleep...was improved after spending 3 nights recorked in the fridge

A bit of the same as last bottle. This one showing its age though. Will definitely not get better. On its way down. Drink up.

Consumed with Dean. Huge nose of black fruit, coffee and chocolate. Black cherry on the palate with more sweet chocolate and coffee. Smooth as silk.

This isn't ready yet. Another 12-24 months. Should score higher then.
