This wine is pretty explosive. Big and rich. An almost overpowering sense of citrus -- limes, mostly. A ton of acidity strives to break through the viscosity, which is entirely atypical of a straight Bourgogne. Hard to know what to do with this one. Lacks delicacy and finesse, but I'm glad to be drinking it. Not typical Burgundy. This is entirely a matter of personal preference. Very interested to drink-up the Pierre-Yves Colin scale to 1er cru level and beyond to get the full picture.
