Lemon coloured, low(++) intensity. On the nose, reductive, smokey. On the palate dry, high acidity, medium body. Buttery, citrus. Thick oily texture. Lush. Good length. Better impression day two, the butter going into the background and the acidity coming forward, pronouncing the "chablis impression", more our kind of chablis. The warm year of 2018 leaving its mark... Bottled with screwcap. (Louis Michel is one of our favourite chablis producers.)

This Chablis was excellent for my palate as I was craving a hi acidity, refreshing Chablis to counter the hot, dry Texas weather. Citrus, lots of minerality, green apple, racy acidity.

A nice surprise -- better than I was expecting. Lovely flavors of lemon and peach, nice balance, not too acidic but still crisp. A perfect summer wine.

Very mineral and seashell nose. Started off more wheat-paste-y than it is now. Palate is fine, nothing too dynamic. Carries more texture than focus. An herbal belly and some chewy fatiness.

Color: light straw Nose: lemon, stone, flint, hint of yellow apple and something like white flowers way back Palate: high acidity and very mineral, this is very clean and crisp and quite lovely; definitely perfect for oysters but this would be smashing with a light risotto with spring veggies or seafood. Some salt quality to it. Citrus in abundance - more on the grapefruit side, and wet stone. I may also be imagining something slightly tropical way hidden. Remote hints of perhaps some golden delicious apple. The slightest hint of carbonation oddly - only felt after a straight pour from the bottle vs decanting. Finish: medium, with acidity and a bit of salt and bitterness and a hint of oregano

Magma Hotel, Kirkjubæjarklaustur, Iceland. Magnificent views from our room, fine (as ever) fish cuisine and a half-decent Chablis - hurray! An Aurora to boot! Mineral (pebbly), with core of understated exotic stoned fruits and plenty of citrus. A tad closed? Probably peaking next year. 88+

My first bottle of the most recent vintage and it didn't disappoint. Lovely nose of citrus and minerals. Perfectly balanced on the palate. Citrus, even some stone fruits. beautiful minerality, faint suggestion of warm spice. Beautiful acidity that just refreshes the whole mouth. Exquisite balance across the palate. Finishes long, light and lovely with minerals, lemon, white pepper. Hard to believe this is a village wine.

At four years, crisp with citrus flavours. Lovely on a summers day, very cold. A great bargain and reminds me of Chablis of 40 or 50 years ago.

Excellent stuff, very minerally with some white peach, citrus, matchstick / gunflint and oyster shell. Very nice at $27.

Suprisingly dull Chablis. My experience was very different than the others.
