Very nice chard: good balance of butter, citrus and stone fruit, esp on the palate. I had expected this vintage to develop into a fuller/richer flavor; not there yet. Still great stuff.

Quite yellow, and with a strong aroma of...rubber?! Faint green apple flavor notes, but actually somewhat flat on first sip. Patience paid off, though, and while the flavor was still somewhat restrained, almost shy, I was getting light citrus, pear and maybe even a touch of almond. This was a nice compliment to chicken cordon bleu.

Extremely nice though I had expected it to flesh out more by now. Still a great chard: stone fruit, butter and citrus in a nice combo. Nice to sip, great with grilled chicken.

Very nice overall with great balance: stone fruit, citrus, hints of chard butter, just the right amount of acid, etc. I am expecting this to develop richer notes though that hasn't happened to a significant extent. Still great to sip and with food.

Continues to impress. Extremely well balanced, all around. Nothing jumps out or shouts but it is all harmonious. Much like a nice Burgundy but without the excess acid that many have. Apricot and hint of "butter" on the nose. More stone fruit plus some citrus on the palate. Plenty of acid so it pairs great with food (had with grilled pork chops) but it is masked by all of the great fruit. Should continue to improve with age based on previous vintages.

Continues to improve and impress. Peach and apple notes on the nose with hints of chard "butter." Really well balanced on the palate with complex mix of spice, stone fruit, tiny hint of oak; all with just the right amount of acid for food. This latest bottle is opening up and beginning to show a bigger body on the palate. Indicates great things in the near future.

As per previous bottles, a very well balanced chard with all of the right characteristics and no flaws. Great wine for every day and, in a few years, likely to be spectacular.

Moderate buttery oak surrounds a core of light citrus and bright peach. Relatively light (M-) body and alcohol with good (M+) acid makes this friendly to savory-salty food; we had it with the savory cake recipe Ravines gave to the Ravinous club for this wine (with olives, Italian sausage, pistachio) and some toasted cauliflower with lemon and capers and pecorino. A solid oaked chardonnay and a lighter alternative to a typical west coast example though the oak is unbalanced against the fruit and light body to my taste. Maybe it will integrate better with age; I have another bottle that I’ll wait 3-4 more years on to find out. 6.1-6.2/10

What's not too like? Well balanced chard with no flaws. Hints of butter on the nose with citrus accents; balance of citrus and peach/apricot on the palate. Restraint shows in the overall balance of fruit and acid. Very good with food

Continues to impress. Light to medium weight with very nice balance. Green apple and citrus on the palate with good acidity; pairs very well with chicken and fish. Nose has hints of chard "butter" as well as citrus notes.

Good to sip, even better with foods. Had with cod and it was a perfect balance. A bit sensitive to temperature, much better if warmer than refrig. Based on experience with other Ravines Chard, this should continue to improve given the good structure and balance.

My go to Chard even though it is young and will improve. Very well balanced with notes of citrus along with peach. Good acidity so that this is a great food wine.

I've bought a case or more becuase this is such a great value; already good to drink and will only improve; already getting better after a few months. Light but typical chard nose, same on the palate: perfect balance of fruit, butter and acid, but light body. Pairs really well with food: grilled chicken and salmon most recently

Continues to impress and will seems to get better with each bottle I open. Extremely well balanced: subtle but distincitive chard nose with hints of butter, peach and a bit of lime. On the palate, more of the same plus hints of spice and just the right amount of acid. Great with food: had with pork chops one night and lobster roll the next. Great pairing in both cases. Drink warmer than refrig temp.

This is a complex wine that I am pretty sure will improve for some time, even though it is more than pleasant to drink now. Subtle peach and lime notes on the nose with a hint of chard butter. Perfect balance of acidity, fruit and spice on the palate. Flavors vary with the temp; definitely better when warmer than the refrig.

Impressive; every bottle I open gets better. Needs to be much warmer than refrig to show off the classic chard nose: apple, pear, peach notes. On the palate the fruit is offset with wonderful spicy notes along the lines of cloves and cinnamon, though nothing sweet at all. Perfect balance of acidity and fruit; great with trout filet!

Continues to improve and impress. Extremely well balanced. Nose has hints of chard fruit/butter but much more, hints of pear, spice,.. On the palate, I get a subtle blend of spices, hints of citrus, peach and more, all extremely well integrated and balanced. Overall light to medium body, just the right amount of acidity for food but pleasnt to sip as well. Better when closer to cellar temp than refrig.

Opened at cellar temp to have with pork chops. A bit too warm but still lots of chard character, esp. on the palate. Still on the young side but a classic chard all the way!

Very nice overall; definitely rounding out with fuller flavors vs. the last bottle opened, as expected. Nice "butter" chard nose, esp. if not too cold followed by spice notes with underlying citrus on the palate. Just the right amount of acidity to hold up well with food (grilled chicken in this case). Great to sip as well

This is a real crowd-pleaser of a chardonnay, with just enough oak influence to add complexity without becoming overbearing. Fig, pear, some nuttiness. Really quite good. Plenty of acid to hang on, so I am excited to see what this becomes in a few years.

Clearly young and improving; this bottle is better than the one I opened a couple months ago; should improve. Nose and body initially seem light with citrus notes and a bit of peach. As it is open and warms, spice notes show up on the palate. Better the second day

Really enjoyed this bottle much more than my last. Ran through vinturi this time and served in a proper burgundy glass, this shiwed some great typical chardonnay character in a cool climate style. I would expect this to also improve in time. Fantastic value.

Very nice chard that should improve quickly with age. Well balanced on nose and palate. Citrus and stone fruit on the nose with typical chard flavors on the palate coupled with the right amount of acidity for food. Seems a bit light right now but I expect it to round out and get bigger in a year or so.

Could use some aging yet, but that said, it was medium bodied, creamy enough for what we were looking for dinner tonight. Definitely recommended, just might recommend letting it cellar at least until summer of 2020
