Excellent value - bold, robust Chianti with plenty of fruit - quite full bodied but very enjoyable - had as part of a tasting but imagine it would work well with a variety of foods.

Opened 2 hours. Color is nice ruby red. On the nose: Cherries and red fruits. On the palate: Bright Cherry, some vanilla and spice. Finish is decent in length. Good value from money. A bit young. Needs a few years to soften but this is good.

Plenty of oak on the nose, but with some brief swirling, some nice red fruits, too. The palate comes across as pretty heavy-handed in this moment (some may like that). That said, I'd like to revisit this in 3-4 years, to see if there's been a trade - oak for fruit. Nice, but lacks proper acidity for my palate. Still, it can be recommended
