Pure and fresh with aromas and flavors of violet, plum and iron. Came across as a bit too international while I was seeking out a rustic sangiovese experience.

A bit “flimsy” in the glass — very muted cherry and oak on both the nose and palate. An enjoyable wine to drink, but lacks the complexity and finesse you would expect in a Sangiovese dominant blend.

Nose of black cherry, allspice, and spring flowers, same on the palate, medium body, tasty, fruit forward, hint of soft tannins, well blended, almost mouth filling fruit, and a medium finish, needs 2 years to peak. Photo uploaded.
