Pretty ordinary Garnacha aged fir 24 months in clay amphorae and small FR oak barriques. Medium ruby colour. Aroma together with palate is far from complex, but it just tastes the way you expect it, fresh and lively, even though it has some maturity. Aroma of cherries, strawberries, roses and wild flower petals, dash of spices. Medium body, soft, light and full of energy with lively fresh acidity, filled with floral red berry flavours, powdery tannins.

PnP but a decant before serving certainly would facilitate a more immediate aromatic opening. Bold nose of cherries and cola. Red fruit aromas are ripe but not jammy; rich earthy undertone as well, think garden soil vs mud or dirt. Red fruit palate with woodsy tannin, lower acidity has the tanning driving all the structure. Tannin + 14.5% abv gives an astringent bite to the finish. A heavyweight for sure with a long finish, and has a Bordeaux like quality that I enjoyed. Definitely in the mold of the old world style fruit bombs vs the CA style. Feels like I just sent a telegram message. Stop. Enjoyable, and the $29 price drives it right over the line of where I would buy again despite the component imbalances; overall evaluation B+ (87).

nose is very yeasty, like sherry. taste has heavy acid, lots of red fruit, cherry? a little harsh in the old world way, very structured. great with steak

Very interesting wine. Started off seeming kind of thin and sharp, but gradually fleshed out with air. Ended up being a powerful, focused wine, that may not yet be fully mature.

Impressive wine but seems closed. Maybe a longer decant was necessary, maybe it's in a dumb phase
Right now this is a blue-balls wine, but a fantastic blue-balls wine. You're enjoying it but...
Fresh and ripe red fruit with orange and very pretty dried floral characteristics. Grenache candy-like hedonism that's checked by a brick WALL of idk how to describe it...
Austere mineral? Drinking below its 14.5% alcohol level? Lack of apparent oak and the fact that the fruit is ripe enough and overtly present, but somewhat green in a good way??
Beautiful Spanish Grenache! Nose is bright cherry, strawberries and plum with a hint of garique and dry dusty schists. The palate opens up with more stawberries, anise, toasted oak, and slightly bitter orange peel tannins. Very different than a Chateneuf or other grenache wines. Residual sugar is very low so if you like dry wines I would get some. Almost in balance now but tannins maybe too much for some.

This vintage is poorly made. Two bottles tasted with odd flavor profiles. Not caused by bacteria, just bad. Poured both out.

Mushrooms and still somewhat sugary sweet. Age is not helping it.

Light but not thin. Good but not great. Would work well with apps or lighter food.

First bottle. Very red fruit dominant as expected being this young with good acidity. Needs time but easily drinkable.
