Decanted for an hour. Core of black fruit. Medium length and acidity. Paired well with some burgers. Not particularly complex at the moment. Maybe a bit of a dumb phase.

drank over two nights. Better second night. First night was two different wines. First glass was red/blue zin fruit. Morphed into darker mataro fruit. Second night more balanced leaning toward red fruits

PnP. Nose of ripe blueberry with thyme, fresh sorrel, and a bit of oak. Powerful rustic blackberry and black raspberry fruit envelops the mouth, driven with alcohol and stony minerals with a touch of dried herbs. Plush tannins on the finish with black fruits and plenty of oak, more stoners, and energy. Delicious and ready to go.

Wonderful nose on PNP. In the glass I quickly realized this bottling needs more time. Third night in and this baby started to show her stuff. Gained some weight. Next bottle will be will 3-5 years from now. I can see the AG score of 95 with time.

There is something about Pato. It’s a rich Zin yet with almost Cab/Syrah overtones of earth, tobacco, blue fruits, licorice. Complexity in spades. Drinking well now. One of my favorite Bedrock Heritages.

Delicious, mellow dark fruits - tasted lovely after 90 minutes in a decanter.

Well-blended zin. Warm and spicy with juicy blue fruits. Silky and balanced tannins. Decanted for about an hour and it opened up nicely.

Probably the most complex Zin based wine I’ve had. A bit of barnyard, perhaps, but add in some tobacco, licorice and menthol.

As good as the bottle from July. One of the more interesting Heritage field blends from the maker of lots of interesting Heritage field blends.
Earthy, complex with vibrant Zin/Syrah/Cab characteristics. Pretty unique and very good.
Drinking nice now with a short, 30 min decant.
