Medium straw. It smells like pear, apricots and almonds. It has good acidity and tastes like nectarine and apricots. First with white rhone for me. Pleasant.

Good notes from winapp and lw in 2021. It took a bit to get going on day 1. Was miscast with asian seasonings... too much like a big chardonnay. Buttoned it up and tried again on its own day 2 and it really took off. Nice balance among the various fruit and acidity. Can see this with a couple more years. Will look for this again.

The Clape Saint Peray 2018 is still singing. Lots of tropical fruit including passion fruit. Balanced by a great amount of acidity. Lovely umami character with a silky mouthfeel. Long finish. Great wine!

Bright gold color. Enticing chrysanthemum flower, pear, guava, mandarin, sweet apricot, honey syrup, hay, flinty, low profile of oak influence adding complexities and roundness, bit of salty minerality and savoury yeast too. Vibrant and focused on palate. Almost full body yet preserving the acidity cut characteristic of Saint Peray.

BYO Litteraturhuset (Litteraturhuset i Oslo): Strågul.

At first pour it appears a little simple and dumb but with air it grows in complexity and freshness. Very classic nose and palate of Marsanne. The attack is clumsy but it has a nice fresh finish. Maybe better with another year or two?

Decanted 4 hours. Alluring and complex nose with lemon oil and a lot of tropical fruit including green banana, pineapple and passion fruit. Floral notes of white flowers. The palate is full-bodied and very fruity. There is a umami character to the wine. Lively acidity. Sliky mouthfeel. Long finish. A beautiful white Clape with a lovely lift to it. IMO St. Péray does not get any better than this. (94-95)

Let it sit or maybe a decant to bring it out fully. Lovely, best near room temp. My first time with it. Looking forward to the other 2

Tropic fruit (pineapple?), lemon, and light minerality.
Medium acid with a long fruit laden finish. Loads of texture on the palate with 14% abv.
Another example of producer over appellation. Absolutely delicious with complexity after getting some air. Great stuff.

青苹果、凤梨和少许胡椒香气,充满清香味的同时入口保有圆润、充实的质感,香气在口中有层次的呈现减弱了本身丰富度的不足。

Very complex, slightly waxy texture, lemon oil and herbs on the palate. Shame I only had one bottle
