Sweet and savory, with the gentle hand of Ehren Jordan at the wheel. I don't have the patience to wait on this in the bottle. Maybe I can do it with the other one I got.

Drinkable, but young yet. Dark fruit, with medium body, and high acidity - will save my next bottle for a couple of years. It’ll be even more delicious, I’m betting.

Boom - This is a good wine. Better than most of the Failla’s I’ve had. Perhaps this is due to a bit of aging. I get impatient and want to open them when the club shipment arrives. Big Ruby coloring with full and smooth mouthfeel. Smoooth with lower acidity. Ripe raspberry flavors, with hints of pepper to make it a bit zesty. High price tilts to moderate QPR. Great wine, just pricy.

Tasted at the winery. Hirsch always comes off as the darkest in the lineup.
black tea leaves, cinnamon stick and Moroccan spices, dark fruited and lifted at the same time. Heavy for now, in the way grands crus can sometimes be, but with great future potential.

This is a big pinot, though not in the over extracted sense. Agree with another reviewer who recommended this one sit for a while given its intensity. Very delicious and I'm sure it will only get better.

Beautiful. Will be amazing in 10+ years. 92 points or so if you drink now, but this will be significantly better in years to come.

Stop drinking this so young. This is like grand cru Burgundy of California. 8 years and it will be amazing.

Too young, needs a lot of air to open up.

Raspberry spice with just a hint of cranberry, a bit taut on the palate.
