  • 92/94 potential,

That wine is still way too young but shows signs of extremely well made wine with fine aging in wood, although it s still dominated, the amount of concentration and refinement is there.

Tar, charcoal, yoghurt, spice, pepper, charwood, and coconut vanilla, combined with dark fruits, blueberry ice cream/sorbet... It's dense end intense !

palate is balanced with med acidity, loads of aromas, mostly oak driven and dominated sadly, but the fruit and concentration is there too, so it will be a reward in 10+ years ... not B4 sorry ! long and vibrant wine ! just wait unless you love the oak driven wines. But it has it all ! just patience is needed there

  • Epic. Drank from a double mag for my son's baptism. Way too young but still had the punch, depth and balance. What an incredible wine. Will start to get really good in about 30 years. right now it's a baby.

  • Spanish Rioja my sister and brother in law brought me back from Spain, right before Covid 19 pandemic struck there. The nose was wonderful, rich, and decadent. I gave this one 2, 5 minute vSpins but couldn't coax out the fruits so I returned it to the bottle. Day 2 the fruits were there! BL
blackberry, blackcurrant, tobacco, oak, dusty leather, coffee. Very enjoyable Rioja.
