Ripe fruit, apples, nutty, oak. The oak is still not integrated completely. Medium body, medium acidity, good consentration, fairly long. Still young, and will need some time to integrate the oak, but it's delicious right now.

Registering more like a nice Muscadet than a Chardonnay, this has sweet apple/lemon fruit - the sweetness being the only hint that this is from CA - bright acid and little extract or oak. Well balanced, clean, gulpable, and structured by its acid. Nothing serious, but at its price point it doesn't purport to be.

Enkel, men vellaget amerikansk chardonnay. Sitrus, eple, smør, hint av tropefrukt, en del fat. Pent balansert på smak med god syre. Ikke veldig kompleks og interessant, men en helt grei amerikansk chardonnay

100% Chardonnay. 13% alcohol. Fermented on French barrels as well as 10 months on old barrels.
Dark straw yellow color. Rich and appealing aromas with sun-ripened citrus, cool tropical tones, clear nuts, caramel and with good saltiness. Good full-bodied wine with an oily mouthfeel that spreads and creates pleasure. Fat juicy citrus, stone fruit, melon, light bitter grapefruit, light wood, caramel and nut. Nice freshness in the middle and in the finish. Lacks depth and some character, but gives great value for money.
Excellent wine for the money. 89 points.

Mild duft, med litt smør og brent tre, noe grønne urter. Kraftig og fyldig i munnen, ganske rund munnfølelse. Fin syrestruktur. Merkbart eikepreg, men ikke sjenerende. Trenger luft, vi kommer tilbake til saken.
Åpner seg litt på duft med tid, men fremdeles ikke særlig komplekst. Fint BB-substitutt dette, men ikke noe mer.

Tasted at a trade tasting in NYC. Small taste, this seemed very acid and mineral driven and when I tasted it showed little fruit. It was a little hard to gauge. Seemed very young and perhaps needs to settle down as I think this was somewhat recently bottled??

Full lemon colour. Medium nose with green apple, lemon, butter, charred wood, minerals, smoke and toast. Medium taste of green apple, lemon, toast, charred wood, honey, cream and pineapple. Long and dry finish. Medium acidity. Medium body. A good and well balanced Santa Barbara Chardonnay with balanced oak. Goes well with cheese, fish or poultry.

Find this to be very well-balanced. Rounder mouthfeel without being too heavy.

Et lite hakk ned fra 2017. Generelt synes jeg 2017 er bedre på chardonnay, og 2018 er bedre på Pinot Noir i Santa Barabara.
Enkel, men pen. Litt kaffenoter
