Amazing wine once again. This is the best QPR I've ever had. Serious nose of mocha, bramble, powdered chocolate, dust, casis, dark fruits, a bit of French funk. The nose changed dramatically and shifted towards new world with hedonistic fruit coming through. The palate largely reflected the nose, incredible acidity, nice mellow tannins. This is an absolute gem, and I wish I had more. Drink up now, but this should be good for a few more years.

Had another bottle of this last night and again it was fantastic. Very complex and elegant for a $20 bottle...and a perfect precursor to the 1985 Chateau Sociando-Mallet bordeaux that was drank next. By far my favorite red wine in this price range.

Very Bordeaux in style. Lots of funk. Very complex. A true find.
