Christmas and End of Year Tasting: Lime and lemon with some petrol aromas as well. A tiny bit flat on the palate, but drinking okay. Drink up based on this bottle.

Cork (cross your fingers). Pours slightly deeper than I had hope and sure enough there is just a little oxidation on the nose and palate, but not enough to spoil this wonderful wine. In-fact it almost adds to it. What am I? French?! Limey toasty nose with racing fine acidity on the palate to wake it up. Complex, mouth filling and yet light enough to disappear down the trap in record time. Had it at my 40th Birthday dinner, served with pan fried prawns and garlic. Stunning match.

Promising colour, light-med gold. Great nose of delicate lime, slate/minerals, and just a hint of toast. The palate was beautiful. Fine acid, powerful yet delicate fruit, long length and a moreish end. Our bottle evaporated. Good now or over the next three years.
