Ungiving over the course of 4 hours, with faint notes of sour cherry and tobacco awash with a sanguine thread. Hard to see the potential here, unrevealing its structure and closed for business.

Decanted for 2 hours. Aromas of raspberry, tar, cherry, iron and rose petal. Flavors of cherry, raspberry, iron, tar and hint of currant. Ends with a 25-30 second finish with iron and raspberry notes. Impressive wine for the money.

Medium ruby color. Aromas of cherry, strawberries and herbs. High alcohol and moderate tannins. Nice acidity. Flavors of cherry, tobacco, herbs. Long finish. Great Brunello for the price!

Higher acidity red wine in the summer months needs some time in the fridge to get the temperature down to 62-65. Keep this wine fresh to foreground its nice energy. Drinking nicely now. It's not a reserva or particularly distinguished Brunello, so I'm not certain how much more it will develop. Granted the 2015 vintage is spectacular. With a few hours decant, the wine took on a more herbal note, and a softer acidity. Clear, medium, ruby with some rim variation, medium to light extract and medium alcohol. Moderate, youthful flavors light red fruit, raspberry and strawberry. Moderate nicely integrated tannins, initially a intense acidity that needed pasta and red sauce. Some nice tobacco, olive and tomato stem. Not a strong oak presence. Moderate to short finish that focuses on the juiciness of this wine.

1 hr decant and perfect compliment to homemade thin pizza. Of my many 2015 BdM this is one of the most approachable today, and will be fun to revisit over the years to come.

May still be a bit young, but this first bottle from our cellar was not as big nor ass complex as expected. The structure was there, just very suppressed. Decanted for only about 45 minutes, so that may be part of it. Next time we'll give it 90 minutes...looking forward to a better result!

Another lovely '15 Brunello that is drinking beautifully. Classic Sangiovese nose of flowers, tart cherry, tea leaf, herbs and strawberries, accented by some mineral and earth. Starts out intensely fruity, with vibrant acidity and smooth but moderately firm tannins. Has a bit of heat on the finish, but overall, this is a well-balanced Brunello that leans more toward the traditional school (no wood influence) despite being so approachable in its youth. I suspect this is a factor of the vintage, and I wonder whether these will begin to shut down at some point, but I've had about a half a dozen '15s that are singing right now. Update on day 2: this has developed an almost Syrah-like flavor profile. Very savory and almost meaty, quite tannic yet juicy, very floral. I like this even more now.

Definitely a bit young, but I had no choice tonight. Tight tannins, nice black currant nose, good acidity, not as much earthiness and tobacco notes as I would hope for, but I blame myself for opening this too soon

PnP, this wine was really easy to drink. Light red color, on the nose, sour cherries, raspberries, balsamic, leather? On the palate more fruit, balsamic, leather, herbs, medium finish. Medium + acidity, with strong firm tannins that need time to mellow out. For the price a great QPR and I recommend it. 91

A lot of bottles in cellars and not enough CT reviews...the JS95 / WS94 / IWR94 hype offset by WE89 and VM88...JR 16.5/20 seems in between. So is it worth nabbing @ $30 Net with so many other amazing 15 BdMs out there?!?! Anyone...Buehler?
Very fruity on the nose. I get cherries, strawberries, and some blackberries as well. Great acidity, adequate tannins with a hint of oak and vanilla that come through. Medium finish

Last bottled seemed a bit closed, enjoyed over 3 hours but still muted compared to previous bottles.

Yet another beautiful Brunello from the stunning 2015 vintage.
Delicate aromas of barnyard, dusty red cherry and worn leather.
Fine tannins but still firm, balanced acidity. Nicely integrated alcohol.
Flavours are very well matched to the nose with the addition of menthol tobacco.
Really a lovely wine that will age well for the next decade+.

Earthy, fruity nice drinking wine. A few years in bottle will make this better. I think.

Dark red. Thick dark berry syrup aromas, similar notes on the palate with smoky leathery notes as well. Medium tannins. Not a long finish.

Meh. Just not much there, even after open for 30-60 minutes and a non-existent finish. Disappointed and not a repeat for us...

Good color. Very good volume to nose. Plenty of proper bitter cherry; good acidity; fine tannins. Better than the lower ratings indicate. Good value.
