Light concentration of color and aroma, leathery, austere, notes of blackberry, plum, asphalt, wood. Stingy tannin on the front palate. Crisp, light bodied mouth feel as well. Light, fresh fruit. Structured. Good wine, not entirely my style but I liked it.

Jeez I really loved this wine - not something I’ve often said about a young Barbaresco. Still lots of crunchy tannins, but not so much that it’s difficult to enjoy. Just so much complexity and interest - a melange of bright red fruits, classic roses and tar, Italian herbs, earth, a hint of anise and vanilla. Well balanced for a stint in the cellar and medium plus length. A produce to watch with great price and quality.

Lite tegel runt kanten.Viss transparens. Doft av hallon och björnklister. Doften avmattades efter en halvtimmes luftning. Påtagliga tanniner, vilket vittnar om lagringspotential. Ändå en av de lättare/vekare barbaresco smakmässigt.

Decanted for about 90 minutes. Drinking beautifully but the tannins are still formidable as one might expect. On the nose: dried roses and violets, cherry and asphalt. On the palette, cherry, strawberry, creme caramel, tar, and anise. Approachable now but will flourish with age over the next 10 years

After a week of being coravined - Color is deep cherry red with a nose of cherry, rose petals and a bit of mint, all of it somewhat reserved. On the tongue, there is orange peel, cassis, some raspberry, cherries, menthol/mint that transitions to a really long peppery finish. Tannins are still fairly robust, but these will resolve over time. This is quite complex and really nice. That said, it seemed a bit more closed down than when I tasted it on first open...
