Two hour decant before dinner. Started to open up at 5 hour mark during dinner. Tannins still not fully integrated. A little dusty at the moment.Very enjoyable but will wait anotehr 2 - 3 years before popping anotehr.

This will warrant a higher score with a few more years on it. Right now it is tight and restrained. One caveat, this was a PnP and it was not decanted. If opening now, decant & serve with food.

Excellent, especially for the price. While still young, it pairs nicely with food. Some English black tea, rose petals, dried herb, and tobacco on the nose and finish. A touch more new oak on the finish than I would prefer. Almost a woody finish. Nevertheless, with time, it will warrant a higher score.

Solid potential here for sure. Here’s where I go: “crap, why didn’t I buy more 2015 Brunellos!” I best get on it. This may be one Suckling got dead on: “bright, primary florals, such as rose petals and tulips and dust, hay bale and dried raspberries. The palate suggests a ripe, powerful persona with chewy, juicy tannins and a fine line of pretty acidity”...

Decanted for two hours. Plum, cherries, French onion soup, rosemary, savory leather and wet earth. Long, savory, with layers of fine tannins and a full body. The aftertaste has an herb medley in the most attractive manner. So enjoyable today, this will benefit from some time in the cellar, however, if you insist, then ensure the proper decant. Drink 2022 - 2037.

Candied citrus peel, tobacco, floral, cedar, saline. Still quite a lot of acidity and body, this will go quite the distance if you can resist the temptation long enough. Best 2025 - 2035

Still young, sour cherry, new leather, pipe tobacco. Great structure, especially the acid. It will be awesome in 3-5 years, so I will check back in then!

This was more approachable than the bottle tasted in February. That said, it's early days, still, though certainly those days are quite lovely. Much more reward, more completeness in another year or two. Structured, juicy, with fine, sweet tannins. A winner. For its full potential, it's highly recommended+
This wine is bright and juicy, with a lot of bitter citrus surrounding the core of sour cherry, kirsch, tobacco flower, wet earth, and cinnamon. Very pure and fresh with a salty finish. The tannins are pretty chewy on this one as well, suggesting a long life in the cellar. Another excellent ‘15 Brunello. 3,000 cases made.

Herbal, woodsy nose, with leather, mushroom, and soil notes. The palate is decidedly traditional; medium body, high-ish acidity, avg length that will develop with time. A joy that will begin to blossom, and add some weight, in 3-4 more years. Lovely, understated. Drink 2023-2037. recommended+
Tasted at Benvenuto Brunello NYC. This is a nice medium garnet color with good structure but a little more tannin than some of the other Brunello's tasted today. The nose is a little reticent, I suspect from the lack of decanting. Florals, tart cherry and licorice come through. I think this needs some time in the cellar and will be wonderful after its 10th birthday and beyond.

Two hour decant. Started to really sing at the four hour mark. Still needs a little more time. Will try again in a few years.

Sehr guter Stoff, Struktur, dunkles ziegelrot, trinkt sich schon gut, ist aber schon aus der Fruchtphase raus, sehr erfreulich

Very nice “everyday” Brunello. Well worth the price.
