At Deering Valentine Concert. With stone crabs. Caramel, honey, citrus, peaches and smoke/oak throughout. Not a creamy taste, but more refined. Enjoyed immensely. Doris, Linda and Steve enjoyed.

For the style it is nice...definately the oaky buttery style. Probably a year or so past its peak, but still very nice. Carmel apple, toasted oak, nuts, and butterscotch.

While one can taste the oak and wood, the wine is not over oaked at all. No popcorn butterscotch nastiness. Rather a nice crisp wine with lemony overtones. The pairing worked best with crab cakes from the four dishes that we tasted.

Rich golden in color with strong buttery aromas with creamy pear, vanilla, and stonefruit. Full nectar with peaceful acidity rounding out this plump and juicy specimen. Flavor follows the nose with heavy butter yet balanced. Massive pear essence teaming with stonefruit, vanilla, lemon peel and honeysuckle. The finish has a tartness with lingering green apple and peaches. A truly beautiful, graceful, and generous chardonnay.

acetal - nail polish. duller, more oak than non-reserve 0malo so no buttery roundness. just sltly musky oak and flattened, dulled fruit or crispness. liked the non-reserve much better.

I'm sure I drank this past its prime but it was still nice after it breathed for a while. Very smooth, med sweet, and a bit of tart.

Great Chardonnay. Apples and citrus over a minerality and toasted oak.

Apples, honey and pineapple blended in a sweet smooth mouthful. Nicely balanced acidity make for a perfect match with shelfish.

Worst wine on the table: flat, flabby, oaky; $14 Chablis was gone, this was left half-full

Outstanding wine. Not as big and round as the 04. More floral notes. Got better after being opened for a 10 -15 minutes.
