This is a very enjoyable Pinot Noir from Edna Valley in California. Fruit forward and nicely balanced with an elegant mouth feel.

Gentle and very tasty. Soft, smooth and spicy. Easy drinking and good by itself as a sipping wine.

This three-year-old is showing good potential, and will age nicely in the next 5 to 7 years. Showing nice complexity already.

As it opens up, soft tannins come in and give it good structure.

  • Very nice mid weight type Pinot. Darker than a lot of pinots, especially the RR valley and Sonoma coast types. Nice tart cherry and raspberry on the palate, very well balanced and good finish.
