Tasted with the la Colline at the winery - this has a darker, more purple color and a nose more like a Syrah. There's a bit of plum and slight leatheriness. More rustic in the mouth, with some punch to the dark fruit flavors. Texture is a bit coarse and finish tails off a bit, but this might develop into something pretty interesting with a bit of time.
