Eyes - deep straw with a hint of sage green at the edge Nose - medium intensity, honey crisp apple, lychee, mild cedar, mild melon and pear , hint of grass, flint and mineral, a little funk, super complex, i could inhale it all day. Mouth - medium body, medium intensity, red apple, melon, lychee, mild pear, hint of caramel, medium long finish, mod acid nicley balances the flavors Summary - wow, complexity, balance and finesse off the charts

Excellent and a surprising style. Saw it was 14.5% and expected a denser, Rich maybe butter / fat profile but it’s really not. Mid to full, real bit of fresh lift on finish but a density and depth. Touch of marzipan and caramel as it opens. Great acidity and decent finish, sharp cut in a deep profile. Locelt

Aromas show some unusual notes of single malt scotch and ears of yellow corn. Also, ripe meaty red delicious apple. Big muscular texture and structure showing rich red apple flavors yet with a nice bright streak. A biit overdone? From Richie Vineyards, personally prefer Aubert’s hand with this vineyard. Maybe time will help, but today pushes my limits as oaky and a touch hot.

Morlet is just serious wine for serious wine drinkers. As well made as they come, with balance and refinement in spades. This 2018 edition is very similar to the 2016, with perhaps a touch less concentration but a bit more freshness and vibrancy. Nose of green apples, orange peel, lemon zest, wet stone and some honeysuckle. As usual, the palate shows uber refined and integrated tannins, with seamless freshness and a wonderfully silky mouthfeel. Good core depth of flavor, with layers that are likely to unfurl nicely over the coming few years. Glides effortlessly, without a hint of oak or butter, and ends with an excellent medium length finish. No harsh edges to be found.

Incredible! Rich, flavorful, complex, richer than the 2020 tasted recently

Peach pit, stone fruit with some oak. Seems like a nice balance. Couldn’t stop drinking it. Killed the whole think by myself.

I want so much to like this, because it's expensive. But it's just insipid.
