Community Tasting Notes (1)

  • Clear, deep concentrated purple core, wine looks youthful. The nose is clean with huge wafts of oak, light cedar and sweet red fruit. Reminds me of fruit punch. Tonnes of spice and cassis as well. The palate is dry, med acid with med. sharp tannin. Moderate fruit intensity of plum and raspberry. Lots of cinnamon and coco with vanilla hiding in the background. Med. alc, med + body with a moderate + lengthy malo finish. decent quality, much more integrated than the regular merlot from Peller. Drinking well now, hold for a year or two tops.
