  • PnP. Aromas of cherry, currant, plum, floral and spice. Flavors of red cherry, currant, plum, spice, earth. Good acidity leading to a medium, very smooth finish. Good, but not in the range of the best Rosellas. Not sure what it is missing.

  • Very nice. A really big, deep, and powerful PN. Lots of depth; rich, with nice fruit, but not overly heavy. I like all of Siduri’s SLH Pinots. Yummy!

  • Nose of spring flowers, allspice, red cherry, raspberry, sweet and sour fruit, same on the palate, medium/big body, tasty. Enjoyed over 2 nights, much better the second night than the first, you can easily cellar 3 more years and probably merit a higher score, mouth filling fruit, paired with smoked turkey and opening night MLB, lovely fruit and complexity, with a long, flavorful finish.

  • This wine was very good. I am not generally a Pinot fan, but found this bottle had the right balance of elegance and body. Consumed with chinook salmon and proved to be up to the task. If I had more bottles, I would be drinking them now.

  • Lovely nose, sweet and sour fruit, touch of allspice and earth, intense fruit on the palate, almost big body, great tasting today, rich fruit, and a long, long, long finish and lovely aftertaste, at $70 a buy for me, the staff here were terrific, helpful, conversational, and informative, especially Chris-thank you Chris.

  • Absolutely delicious. Kudos to Siduri for maintaining this level of quality. As is typical of the Rosella vineyard, the quality of the fruit is so high, that most wineries who have the good fortune to source these very expensive grapes, are able to make a good wine from it! Roar, Kosta Browne, Walt, and Testarossa come to mind.

it brims with vivacious, and rather forward plum, cherry, blueberry, and spicy strawberry notes. A hint of smokiness, and some herbal notes. The nose is floral, and the mouthfeel has balance and finesse. A good amount of character, and a very nice finish to boot.

My preference for SLH is to consume the wine on the young side, but this bottle likely has another 3-4 years of cellar potential.

  • This is fabulous. Sweet without being cloying, strawberry without raspberry, wine without jam. Can it match a 2016 Bionic Frog, a 2015 Peter Michael Cab., a 2005 La Tache or a 1981 La Flaive Les Pucelles? Maybe not, but did you see the price? Perfect with camembert, pork tenderloin or just as the last sip of the day. This is probably the very best wine for the price on the planet today.

  • Aromatic as soon as it was opened. Nice aromas of cherry, currant, plum and spice. Flavors of red cherry, currant, plum, spice, earth. Good acidity leading to a medium, very smooth finish. Needs at least a year to come together.
