  • There is a scent of tobacco and smoke as soon as it is poured. After swirling in the glass and smelling again, tobacco and smoky notes merge with the underlying fruit associations of pear and peach. Ginger, mint and a subtle stony minerality with still a few yeasty notes complete this beautiful overall aromatic composition.

The palate is juicy, dense and profound with rather subtle yellow fruit and a clear sweet core. The wine then becomes extraordinarily tobacco, smoky and mineral with notes of green tea, all underpinned by a fine acid nerve and fine tannins. The long-lasting, salty finish is extremely remarkable.

An excellent wine that combines drinking pleasure with sophistication.

  • Nice acidity. Has notes of apple, pear and plum on the nose. Very slight sweetness but overall a very well done Riesling.
