Needs time to decant now. Alcohol levels and tannins are piercing without a decant at this point. Fruits have become dark and lush once a proper decant has been achieved.

Big dark wine. I was unable to get the nose and flavor profile I was hoping for, even with a decant and aeration. Consistent over 3 days. I liked the 2014 much more.

Quite disappointing, but maybe I'm a bit severe. I was expecting more substance and complexity based on what Gallo used to deliver with their single vineyards in the late 1990s and early 2000s. I feel there's not enough meat around the bone and there's too much heat. That was my experience with my first bottle over Christmas and wanted to give it one more try before posting a note...but it didn't change anything. I like what another taster said, this is a cookie cutter California Cab and it way too expensive...not even sure it will age well due to the fact that its not well balanced.

Very enjoyable but somewhat a cookie cutter California cab - not necessarily a bad thing. Alcohol level at 14.9% makes things very spicy almost to the level of a Zinfandel. Fruity but not a fruit bomb and notes of stem and light vanilla. Ready to go.

Nice fruit and spice on the nose. Firm tannins.

I liked it. Some spicy notes. Fruit but not a fruit bomb. Perhaps some vegetable notes. Tannins and cabs like it should have.

Usually very good, but this bottle was slightly spoiled... maybe oxydized... :(
